  • FINVIA cooperates with LBBW Asset Management, a subsidiary of Germany's largest Landesbank and one of the leading national capital management companies
  • Wealth management clients of BW Bank throughout Germany gain extended access to alternative asset classes and renowned private equity managers

Frankfurt am Main, 09.04.2024 - The multi-family office FINVIA and LBBW Asset Management (LBBW AM) have signed a cooperation agreement with effect from January 1, 2024. The aim of the cooperation is to provide wealth management customers of Baden-Württembergische Bank (BW-Bank) with extended access to alternative asset classes.

In an increasingly challenging capital market environment, alternative investments play an important role as a suitable alternative to liquid investments. FINVIA will offer BW Bank's wealth management clients access to exclusive private equity funds in the future. When it comes to alternative investments, selecting the right managers and the right network are crucial, especially for private equity investments. With a strong network and decades of experience in investing in this asset class, FINVIA will give BW Bank's wealthy clients the opportunity to benefit more from this asset class in the future.

"As a respected specialist in alternative investments, FINVIA is exactly the right cooperation partner when it comes to expanding the range of individual solutions for BW Bank's high-end private client business. We expect to create real added value for our customers by giving them the opportunity to diversify their portfolio even more broadly through product solutions created exclusively for us," says Oliver Neckel, Head of Wealth Management and AWM Specialist Advisory at BW Bank.

"With our decades of experience and positioning as a leading service provider in the retail segment, we are delighted about this exclusive cooperation and look forward to pooling our strengths with FINVIA. This will enable us to expand our high-quality range of services for wealthy customers," says Hans-Henning Brand, Head of Sales Savings Banks / Banks at LBBW AM.

In a first step, a program will be set up that bundles the best private equity managers from the USA, Europe and Asia of a "vintage year" in one investment. LBBW AM and FINVIA will also be able to offer individual investments or the development of individual portfolios, so-called managed accounts, for selected customers of BW Bank.

"LBBW AM's experience in the field of alternative investments and BW Bank's advisory approach with its clear focus on individual customer needs convinced us to contribute our many years of investment expertise to the cooperation," says Alexander Eimermacher, Managing Director and Chief Development Officer at FINVIA.

"We are delighted to have gained such a prestigious partner and to open up our network of renowned fund managers to BW Bank clients. Choosing the right managers and the right network is crucial, especially when it comes to alternative investments," says Hanna Cimen, founder and responsible for strategic partnerships at FINVIA.
