FINVIA: "The entrepreneur is the star"
- Multi-family office FINVIA expands range and expertise
- Michael Jänsch becomes CEO
Frankfurt am Main, March 15, 2024 - The multi-family office FINVIA is expanding its expertise and offering for wealthy investors and focusing on entrepreneurial families. At the same time, Michael Jänsch, who joined FINVIA as Co-CEO at the beginning of the year, will become sole CEO. Co-founder Torsten Murke, previously Co-CEO, is moving to the company's Advisory Board.
Michael Jänsch (50) has many years of experience in advising high-net-worth families and managing specialized teams. Before joining FINVIA, Jänsch was a board member at FOCAM Family Office and a member of the management of the German Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) and Family Office segment at ODDO BHF. A team moved to FINVIA with Jänsch. This includes Alexander Eimermacher, who as Managing Director will be responsible for business development and thus the operational implementation of FINVIA's strategy. Valentin Bohländer, one of the co-founders of FINVIA, has joined the holding company's future three-person management team as COO. Reinhard Panse, also a co-founder, will remain responsible for investment policy as CIO and will continue to determine the strategic asset allocation for the family office's clients. Jänsch and Eimermacher are also new shareholders of FINVIA.
"The entrepreneur is the star at FINVIA," says Michael Jänsch, summarizing the strategic direction of the family office. "Entrepreneurs invest, drive innovation, create jobs and secure the continued existence of their companies. Especially in these challenging times, we want to focus even more on their interests and support them with our solutions, our experience and our network in all important issues relating to their wealth ," explains Jänsch.
High-net-worth entrepreneurial families with their complex requirements are one of FINVIA's core target groups. They set the standard for the Group's services, to which clients have already entrusted more than six billion euros at wealth . Having developed the leading digital technology platform for serving wealthy families, the company, which was founded in 2020, has now laid the foundations for its successful further development. "We offer the full range of advice and services for wealth from two million euros - but also specifically for very large wealth and complex tasks," says Michael Jänsch. This includes access to selected private equity and direct real estate investments. Jänsch: "We see ourselves in a leading position in these areas in particular, which we want to expand."
In this context, co-founder Torsten Murke emphasizes the active support of the existing shareholders on the future growth path. In addition to the founders and the management, the investment company Hannover Finanz is one of the largest shareholders.
"We are particularly pleased that our Multi Family Office, with the high level of expertise in the team, appeals to many demanding target groups," says Michael Jänsch. In addition to entrepreneurs, the FINVIA SPORTS unit also looks after wealthy sportspeople. The network of other international family offices and private equity houses also offers all FINVIA clients access to exclusive investments in the attractive asset class of "sports". As Managing Director, Mathias Jauch is responsible for client support in this area. The former national soccer player and DFB national team manager Oliver Bierhoff acts as Chairman and co-partner of FINVIA.
