  • Christian Maschner, Dr. Benjamin Moritz and Martin Schmitz join FINVIA from Harald Quandt Asset Management GmbH.
  • The former branch manager of Bankhaus Metzler in Stuttgart, Otfried Hoffmann, is responsible for new client business and client support in Stuttgart as Senior Family Officer.
  • Since it was founded, the family office now employs over 90 people who operate throughout Germany.

Frankfurt am Main, 01.08.2022 - The demand for a modern family office that combines technical possibilities with personal advisory expertise is not diminishing even in times of crisis - on the contrary, it is increasing. The need of many investors for individual, holistic and independent management of their total assets across all asset classes is fundamental.

To meet this demand, FINVIA combines excellent advice from long-standing capital market experts with digital innovations that are unique in the family office segment. The FINVIA Cockpit and the FINVIA app are part of the digital portfolio. This provides customers with a transparent and comprehensible overview of all assets and performance.

Expanding and securing the high quality standards and technical market leadership is therefore a fundamental part of the company's growth strategy. For this reason, three investment experts from HQ Asset Management GmbH will be joining the FINVIA team from August 1:

- Christian Maschner, Head of Quantitative Investment

- Dr. Benjamin Moritz, Head of Quantitative Investment Research

- Martin Schmitz, Senior Financial Engineer

Maschner, Dr. Moritz and Schmitz are distinguished by their many years of expertise (including HQ AM, Sal. Oppenheim, Lingohr & Partner) in the development and management of quantitative investment solutions. They also have extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data and strategic investment consulting.

FINVIA is also strengthening Björn Seemann's team in Stuttgart to meet the increasing demand from new clients. As of August 1, Otfried Hoffmann will strengthen the new client business and client support in the Multi Family Office as Senior Family Officer. Hoffmann is no stranger to the industry. Among other things, he was responsible for the private client business at Volksbank Böblingen before moving to Bankhaus Metzler, where he was Director and Head of the Stuttgart branch for over 21 years.
