FINVIA PE Perpetual: FINVIA introduces innovative private equity structure with liquidity option
Frankfurt am Main, 20.10.2023 - FINVIA Family Office GmbH, a renowned multi-family office operating throughout Germany, is pleased to announce the launch of its latest product, FINVIA PE Perpetual. This innovative private equity structure from the Luxembourg fund company FINVIA S.C.S. SICAV-RAIF enables investors to invest in an existing private equity portfolio from a minimum subscription amount of €200,000. The introduction of the FINVIA PE Perpetual is a logical extension of the range of individual funds ("Primaries") and vintage funds ("Vintage Funds") in the Selection series.
FINVIA PE Perpetual is characterized by the following key features:
- Investors are fully invested in a diversified and mature private equity portfolio as soon as the capital call is serviced and thus benefit fully from the advantages of the asset class.
- Broad diversification: The FINVIA PE Perpetual portfolio is extremely widely distributed and diversified, similar to a global equity ETF with several hundred different target investments. This ensures broad risk diversification, as the portfolio is also spread across several vintages of private equity funds. The fund accesses various forms of investment (primaries, secondaries and co-investments) across a wide range of financing levels that are active in all relevant global markets.
- Semi-liquidity: Investors have the option of redeeming their investments annually at the current net asset value (NAV). Early redemption is possible after 3 years at the earliest. This promotes long-term investments and avoids short-term actions such as "panic selling", while at the same time offering a liquidity option that is not usually available.
- Minimized administrative effort: FINVIA PE Perpetual relieves investors of the administrative effort associated with capital calls and the reinvestment of returns that would be incurred with individual investments. Customers can therefore concentrate on their investments and save administrative costs.
- The fund is designed, implemented and continuously managed by an experienced investment team.
Access to private equity, a popular asset class for large assets, and renowned managers is possible from as little as EUR 200,000. With FINVIA PE Perpetual, investors also benefit from the institutional fees that are already familiar from other FINVIA private equity solutions. Thanks to the digital subscription option via the FINVIA Investment Platform, customers can invest in the fund easily and fully digitally.
"FINVIA PE Perpetual is an innovative product that offers investors an exclusive opportunity to participate in the opportunities of the private equity market," says Jan Hoffmann, Head of Alternative Investments at FINVIA "Investors gain access to a broadly diversified private equity portfolio that gives them the flexibility to redeem shares after 3 years. At the same time, we offer investors the convenience of full portfolio management at fund level."
FINVIA PE Perpetual appeals to a broad target group of private equity investors with its high degree of flexibility:
- Investors with smaller wealth are given the opportunity to invest in private equity and benefit from diversification and conditions that are not normally available to them.
- Investors who want to build up their investments in private equity can realize their commitment immediately with the investment.
- Investors who already have a mature private equity portfolio and want to increase it have the opportunity to use FINVIA PE Perpetual to open up an innovative early redemption option that they would otherwise not have, without having to maintain liquidity in the fund portfolio for this purpose, which would reduce returns.
