US consumers' inflation expectations are falling

On a 1-year horizon, US consumers expect prices to rise by 3.9%. This is significantly lower than the 4.4% in the previous month and the lowest figure since April 2021. Over a 5-year horizon, consumers expect annual inflation of 2.9%.
