High demand for hedge funds

Active strategies are increasingly being considered: 35% of family offices rely on manager selection and active management as a means of portfolio diversification. In light of monetary policy measures to reduce excess financial liquidity and ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty, family offices are relying on the ability of hedge funds to generate investment returns. Almost three quarters (73%) are confident that hedge funds will meet or exceed their performance targets over the next twelve months.
