Prices in Germany rise less sharply

Consumer prices in Germany rise by an annual average of 7.9%. From December 2021 to December 2022, prices rose by 8.6%. This is a significant decline compared to the peak in October 2022 (+10.4%). The increase in import prices and producer prices is also declining.
