Through the use of everyday apps, we are experiencing how intuitive access to information can be today. It is not only the millennial generation that expects this digital service from their financial service providers. As a progressive multi-family office, the development of the FINVIA app was therefore the logical next step in expanding our digital offering.
With a broad investment portfolio and a large number of providers with different contacts, it is not always easy for asset owners to keep track of everything. To ensure that our clients are always up to date, we generally offer digital reporting for liquid and illiquid investments via our FINVIA platform. The platform is essentially a digital ecosystem that gives our clients 24/7 access to their assets. Here they can track the performance, value development and diversification of their investments online.
As part of our digitalization strategy, we have implemented an innovative mobile solution on this basis. We have recently started offering the first native, self-developed app in the family office segment.
Whether on the way to work or relaxing on the couch, customers have a complete overview of their entire personal wealth and insights into their investments, from securities, real estate and private equity funds to art objects, at any time and from anywhere.
The app's functionalities were primarily defined by customer requirements and are based on feedback from our customers. During the implementation process, they were able to have a significant influence on the direction of development by regularly testing pre-release versions of the application. FINVIA develops digital solutions in cross-functional teams with experts from the fields of design, product development and software development.
The app is characterized by a modern UI with a user-friendly design and deep integration into the extended FINVIA system landscape, including, for example, the portfolio management system. It goes without saying that the data is protected from unauthorized access at all times and is provided in encrypted form from secure data centers in Germany. Our team was able to develop the FINVIA app in less than 9 months.
The app now maps complex wealth structures and enables detailed analyses. This means that wealth can be viewed across all asset classes with appropriate key figures and graphical representations. In addition, we have integrated the FINVIA blog "FINVIA Horizons" into the app so that our customers are always informed about the latest articles and never miss any news.
Of course, the FINVIA app is not simply finished when it is launched. Rather, app development is an ongoing process, i.e. we react to changing guidelines, continuously develop the app and its functions and correct any errors. Feedback from our customers is essential and is incorporated into further development at all times.

Anina Langhans
Anina Langhans is Senior Product Manager at FINVIA. She gained her first practical experience as a working student in project management at Cybex, a manufacturer of child safety products, during her bachelor's degree in industrial engineering in Bayreuth. After successfully completing her bachelor's degree, she began her master's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on information and communication systems at the TU Berlin. Parallel to her master's degree, she gained extensive experience as a working student at HERE Technologies and ImmobilienScout24. Anina Langhans has been working as a Product Manager at FINVIA since the end of 2020.
