What's NXT?
We think excellence further. Our aim is to provide our customers with comprehensive and up-to-date support. This results in our aspiration to remain progressive with our range of services, which we want to meet by using the latest technologies. For us, this also means passing on our economic expertise to the next generation of customers.
Specifically, we want to offer our clients' offspring the opportunity to learn about capital markets and asset management in a professional, challenging format. We have created the FINVIA NXT program for this purpose. We attach great importance to participants working hands-on so that they are able to take responsibility for family assets and initiate succession discussions and communication within the family. This should also make it easier to deal with one's own and the family's expectations and reduce the associated stress and pressure. In doing so, you experience what it is like to work in a dynamic company with a lively corporate culture. The specific goals can and should be discussed and defined with the family in advance.
FINVIA NXT is also a privilege for client children to gain practical, professional experience. We combine a wide range of expertise - from many years of family office experience to the application of state-of-the-art technologies. This results in a dynamic and vibrant corporate culture. In addition, the program offers the opportunity to experience the difference between theory and practice in business topics. For example, business students often learn little about illiquid asset classes such as private equity due to a lack of research. Instead, curricula stick to bonds, which are becoming less and less relevant in light of the low interest rate environment. FINVIA NXT therefore provides a good insight into a progressive working environment and modern topics.
Participants are accompanied by a mentor who provides professional and efficient training and support.
The core aspects of FINVIA NXT are:
Why should the next generation deal with the family wealth at an early stage?
At FINVIA, we focus on the overall satisfaction of the clients we serve. As a family office, we have the opportunity to support families in all wealth-related matters and help them achieve their goals. It is important to us that the next generation is not restricted by their wealth , but feels supported in finding their own way. As a point of contact for wealth-related issues, we therefore want to create security and trust. For this reason, FINVIA NXT is structured in such a way that it creates a basic understanding of economic relationships, familiarizes participants with the family's individual wealth issues and enables them to get to know FINVIA and the respective experts. In addition, participants not only learn to work professionally, but also generally acquire the ability to deal competently with wealth . Dealing with family assets at an early stage is therefore intended to support the next generation.
One of our tasks as a family office is to create a basic understanding of economic relationships among our clients. This promotes a constructive exchange and helps clients to feel confident when making decisions. This includes, for example, developing a strategic investment allocation for wealth. This must not only be objectively viable, but the customer must also be able to "sleep well" with this decision. In addition, an understanding of risk and return is important in order to make the right investment decisions. New experiences can be made on the capital market every day. An early basic understanding is helpful in order to be able to classify these.
In addition to constantly dealing with wealth management , different priorities and goals - possibly even within a family - must be taken into account. The usually common goal of preserving family wealth in the long term is easier to achieve if potential conflicts are cleared out of the way at an early stage. Family wealth is rarely lost due to short-term slumps on the capital market. In most cases, the causes lie in internal family disagreements and are avoidable. FINVIA NXT also aims to promote communication within the family in order to avoid these conflicts. For example, a different understanding of the responsibility that a wealth entails and the perceived expectations of those around them can lead to disputes. In this case, a timely exchange can clear up possible misunderstandings and reduce any perceived pressure of expectations. This is where our team's many years of experience in customer care can come in and point out opportunities or avoidable problems.
Finally, we would like to emphasize that we are always ready to listen to our customers' concerns. We want to reach out to the next generation at an early stage so that they can get to know FINVIA and its experts. Our broad-based team with our external partners offers holistic wealth management. This also includes taking the next generation into account.
We are very motivated to give you exciting insights into the work of a family office. If you are interested or would like to know more, please send me an e-mail.

We see every day how important it is for our clients that their children and grandchildren are increasingly involved in family business. It makes sense to deal with family assets at an early stage. Our exclusive "FINVIA NXT" training program was developed from this experience. Cassian explains how our program is structured and what FINVIA can give your children along the way.
